Online Marketing is very lucrative though you need to have the desire and will to be able to get a niche of the multi-billion dollar internet industry that it has come to be. Below are some tips on how to start your own Profitable Newsletter Writing:

Before You Start:
Before you begin your newsletter, you must first consider the following:
- What mailing list program will you use?
- Who is your target audience?
- What will your newsletter be about?
- How frequently will you send your newsletter?
- Who will you gather the list?

MAILING LIST PROGRAMS:
If you are able to install the program yourself, you can find many free mailing list programs at the Resource Index (www.resourceindex.com).

Different programs come with different features. You should look for the following features when choosing a program
a) Handle multiple lists – this comes in handy when you want to be able to manage
many mailing lists on one web site
b) Resume interrupted mailing – sometimes a program will come across an error when
sending out your newsletter. You want it to be able to resume sending it where it left off.
c) Handle large lists – sometimes your list may grow to many hundreds or even
thousands of subscribers. You would like your program to be able to handle this capacity
d) Custom Fields – it is handy to be able to include custom fields in your newsletter. For
example, you might want to include each list member’s name at the top of the newsletter
e) Database oriented – database can handle extremely large amounts of information,
as well as multiple fields. If you would like to include custom fields, if your list will
become very large, or if you want a fast system, database lists are the best. Flat file
database (text files that act like databases) can be slow, can cause errors with larger
lists and become fragmented (data is not in the proper place).
f) You will want to be able to modify the FROM Address and the SUBJECT of your emails.
Your program should recall these each time you send a newsletter.
g) Easy addition and removal – your program should make it easy for readers to join
or leave your list.

TARGET AUDIENCE:
Its is important to define the target audience of your newsletter to ensure it achieves its full potential. If you are able to separate your audience into smaller groups, you should consider a separate newsletter for each group.

Clearly define your target audience and recall this every time you write a newsletter. It will help you to write appropriate articles and target any advertising. If you do not, your newsletter is less likely to achieve the result you desire.

NEWSLETTER CONTENT:
A common mistake is to outline your product or services or your business operations in each newsletter. It is hard to find new information for each newsletter and readers will not be interested. Instead, write informative articles, solving the problems your readers face each day. This way your readers are more likely to find your newsletter interesting. They will also remain subscribed and read each issue. You will build trust with your reader and bring them closer to becoming a customer (a return customer). Displaying knowledge of your industry will make readers confident that you know what you are doing.

MOTIVATION

By definition motivation means that which motivates, that which makes us take action towards our desired goals and which gives purpose and direction to those actions. How we all know that very often we lose our motivation and we allow procrastination to domiinate our life, Without our motivation we stop taking action and doing things we really want to do, we stop achieving the things we really want to achieve and we stop believing we are capable of becoming who ever we want to be.

The secret to beat procrastination is that we need to keep motivated. Every day we must do something, anything that gets us motivated, wether it's listening to your favourite song, going for that morning walk or simply reading some quotes. Everyday we must motivate ourselves because when we are motivated we have energy, we have ideas and we have dreams and we pursue those dreams with our unbounded faith that we will achieve them and more.

• Change is the only permanent thing in life.

• The only way to win the race of life is to learn to keep pace with change e.g.
the story of the lion and gazelle in the Serengeti Plain of East Africa.

• Those who resist change lose charge.

• To keep growing you have to keep changing.

• Change is what makes life dynamic.

• Change is the difference between the present and the future. In other words, the
future is birth in the womb of change.

To prosper in a changing world requires that you anticipate, prepare for and embrace change. You must see the future before it occurs.

• John Sculley said, “THE FUTURE BELONGS TO THOSE WHO SEES
OPPORTUNITIES EVER BEFORE IT OCCURS”.
